Timeless Herringbone Ideas
Hello Friends! I have been MIA the past week or two. (Excuse me while I cower in a small corner) If you haven’t heard, I am opening a store!!!! WHAT!?! Dream come freaking true.
It’s been a stressful, exciting, anxiety driven and adrenaline fueled past few months but totally worth all the sleepless nights to do what I truly love. PAINT!!!! (Not to mention I think I gave my hubby a few heart palpitations here and there with all the furniture I have been accumulating at sales.)The picture above was taken at an auction last month where I bought most of the furniture. WHAT!!! I need to have stock ready to go folks!!!
More about the store later. This week I am going to share with you a compilation of timeless herringbone patterns that I gathered from Hometalk.com. Of course I had to add two of my own projects to the list.
This is our herringbone ceiling going down to the basement. I wanted something a little different and unexpected. I think I achieved it! (click on the image if you want to see how I did this)

This home made table runner was made out of extra canvas drop cloth I had from a left over project and stenciled with chalk paint. It was super easy and ridiculously inexpensive.

Well alright ladies and gents, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week. I will be sure to keep you updated on the store and will be blasting out some more projects very soon!!!
